Job Title: Director, Workday Implementations
Location: Remote, 25-30 HRS/WK

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Workday Implementations to lead the ongoing implementation, optimization, and support of our Workday platform. The ideal candidate will have led 5 to 8 full-cycle Workday deployments and possess deep expertise in one or more modules such as SCM, HCM, Finance, or Payroll. Experience implementing Workday in a pediatric hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

This is a cross-functional leadership role that will collaborate closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, and executive leadership to ensure the Workday platform aligns with and supports organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of Workday implementations, optimizations, and module deployments across the enterprise

  • Manage system enhancements, integrations, configuration updates, and release cycles

  • Provide strategic direction to a team of Workday analysts, developers, and third-party consultants

  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders to ensure alignment between system capabilities and operational needs

  • Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and performance related to Workday support and services

  • Ensure governance, data integrity, and compliance with all applicable regulations and internal standards

  • Develop training and change management strategies to support user adoption and system proficiency

  • Monitor system performance and user engagement to identify areas for continuous improvement

  • Stay informed on Workday product updates, roadmap changes, and emerging best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

  • Proven experience with 5–8 full-cycle Workday implementations - Minimum 2 End-to-End Implementations

  • Demonstrated success leading Workday projects in large, complex organizations

  • Experience with Workday implementations in healthcare or pediatric hospital settings is a strong advantage

  • Deep knowledge of Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking, or SCM modules

  • Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities

  • Workday certification(s) strongly preferred
